Grumentin 625

Grumentin 625 contains two different medicines called Amoxicillin 500mg and Clavulanic acid 125mg. While Amoxicillin belongs to the class of antibiotics called Penicillins that can sometimes be made inactive by bacteria, the other active ingredient which is Clavulanic acid stops this from happening.
Grumentin 625 works by killing bacteria that cause infections in both adults and children, thus is used in treatment of Otitis media, sinusitis, respiratory and urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections including dental infections, bone and joint infections.
Consult your physician if you are allergic to Amoxicillin, Clavulanic acid, Penicillin or any other antibiotic. It is to be taken whole with meals only on prescription.
